From an early age, I found joy in creativity, especially during long afternoons spent outdoors, where imagination transformed the ordinary into something meaningful. Working with my hands has always been central to my process, leading me to explore shop classes in school and develop a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and material .
In 1997, I took a pivotal step in my artistic journey by enrolling in a workshop where I created my first copper flower. That experience sparked a lasting passion for metalwork and set me on a path of creating expressive, handcrafted pieces.
Today, my work centers on metal sculpture and mixed media, often incorporating reclaimed and repurposed materials. I’m drawn to the history and character embedded in these materials, giving them new life through forms that highlight texture, movement, and transformation.
I currently create from my home studio in Richardson, Texas, where I continue to explore the intersection of raw material and artistic vision, and share my work with others.
